You will feel the organic potential of new growth in each work, building layer upon layer to reveal a context as individual as each viewer. Surrounded by this imagery and supported by a number of contemporary professional artists a new course for the Academy Gallery will unfold. Starting Saturday October 13, 2012, the Academy will be open weekends from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm until the New Year.
Come celebrate this return with us at the Re-Opening Reception from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Saturday, October 13, 2012. Guests will be invited to become supporters of the Academy Gallery’s drive to “Provide opportunities for the promotion and growth of art and culture in our community”.
Steeped in History and filled with art, come experience the Academy Gallery!
To begin anew, the Academy Gallery in Bath will re-open with a new collection of work by Kingston Artists, Michéle La Rose, Evelyn Rapin, and Sharon Thompson along with an entirely new series by Laura Culic and the resident artist, Janice Teare.
